| Went out late last night for some fun with a couple of fellow Z owners. We did a couple of highway rolls from about 60mph. On the first pull I went against a 91 5-speed with dual pop, intake, chip, exhaust and TD O5's. Needless to say his car pulled pretty good on me. Next I went up against another 5-speed. This is the match up I thought I could at least be even with. He had Intake, Exhaust, NO Chip and Sport 600 equivalent turbo. But I am sad to say he still managed to pull on me. Not as bad as the TD-O5 equipped car but bad enough to realize stock turbos just don't cut it. Now comes decision time with my current mods and keeping the Auto tranny will Sport 500's do. I know it is a realiable and proven turbo. Or do I go after GMS Racing GT-550R Ball Bearing turbo? My concern on the GMS turbo is Lag on the auto tranny. 2) Does any one have a reliable history with these. 3)GMS customer service. Anyway feel free to chime in and give me your opinions. Oh and I 'll just beat most of you to the punch: "Hey man auto's suck do a 5 speed conversion" With that out of the way educated responses welcome.
